Our Story
Aura Constructions was born from a simple belief — that great construction work should be accessible, not just to the biggest developers, but to anyone who wants to build something that lasts.
Founded by Mr. Chandra Vimanam, a civil engineer with over 36 years of experience across power plants, infrastructure, commercial complexes, and luxury residences, Aura Constructions was built on the foundation of his life's work. Having led large-scale projects at industry giants like Mycon Construction and CCCL, he set out to create a contracting firm that combined corporate-grade execution with a personal commitment to every client.
Today, Aura Constructions is a trusted name across Bangalore and Karnataka — with a growing portfolio that includes work for Vaishnavi Group, Sattva Group, Embassy Springs, and several prominent private clients. From a 1,000 sft residence to a 1,08,000 sft institutional building, we bring the same rigour, transparency, and craftsmanship to every project we take on.

The Man Behind Aura
Managing Partner
Mr. Chandra Vimanam
With over 36 years of experience spanning some of India's most complex and diverse construction projects, Mr. Chandra Vimanam brings a depth of expertise that is rare in the industry. A Civil Engineering graduate with a postgraduate degree from NICMAR, Pune, his career is a testament to what dedication to the craft truly looks like.
He began his journey in 1981 and went on to spend 23 years at Mycon Construction Ltd, Bangalore — one of the most respected names in Indian contracting — before taking on the role of General Manager at Consolidated Construction Consortium Limited (CCCL), where he led large-scale project execution across the Bangalore region for over a decade.
His experience cuts across virtually every category of construction — power plants, dams, barrages, refineries, roads, bridges, institutions, luxury residences, and commercial complexes. He has managed projects from the ground up, with a hands-on approach to cost control, quality assurance, and site leadership that clients have come to rely on.
